Agenda for the Trinidad and Tobago Internet Governance Forum on Friday January 26 2018

The second annual Trinidad and Tobago Internet Governance Forum (TTIGF ; http://igf.tt/) will be held on Friday 26th January 2018 from 9am to 5pm at the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Columbus Circle, Westmoorings, Trinidad with online participation available for those unable to attend at the venue.

TTIGF 2018 is hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Multistakeholder Advisory Group (TTMAG), of which the Trinidad and Tobago Computer Society is a member.

Digital Financial Services (DFS)

Digital Financial Services (DFS) will focus on the current state of DFS in Trinidad and Tobago, what other services can be provided and how DFS can facilitate digital inclusion.

Gender Activism Online will focus on the ways that the Internet is being used by local, regional and international activists to involve people in their campaigns, to share stories, to fund raise, and support their work in many other ways.

Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology, will focus on the importance of this technology, its applications, potential, and limits. Panelists will discuss the potential impact, both positive and negative, on our society as a whole.
