The Trinidad and Tobago Computer Society (TTCS ; http://www.ttcsweb.org/ ) will be having a meeting on Sunday 27 March 2011 from 1 to 3 pm at Engineering Consultants at 112A Edward Street, Port of Spain (corner of Oxford and Edward Street). At this meeting we will be discussing the various leadership positions available at ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (See http://www.icann.org/en/about/ for background information about ICANN)
ICANN's Nominating Committee (NomCom) Associate Chair, Jacqueline Morris will be available to answer any questions you may have about ICANN, the process, the positions, etc.
The NomCom is an independent committee that, over a three-year cycle,
is responsible for the selection and appointment of half of the voting members of ICANN's Board of Directors as well as members of ICANN's policy making Supporting Organizations and Advisory Councils.
