This WhatsApp Community is for TTCS members to chat in topic-based groups about ICT related issues and to get important announcements from the Trinidad and Tobago Computer Society at https://ttcs.tt
We want this community to be a fun and relaxing place to discuss ICT related issues, to share and to learn.
To this end, we expect members that join the
TTCS WhatsApp Community to comply with the following rules:
- Keep it Respectful: Absolutely no personal attacks, insults, slander, or discriminatory language.
- No Threats: Any form of threat (including threats of legal action) inside or outside the chat will result in an immediate ban.
- Check Your Volume: Refrain from excessive, repetitive, or spammy posting. Give others a chance to speak
What NOT to post :
- Spam: No unsolicited forward messages, chain letters, or bulk media.
- En Masse Advertising: Don’t use the main chat to aggressively promote your business. (Got a tech business or blog? Feel free to share a brief link when relevant to the chat, but keep it low-key).
- Off-Topic Chat: Keep discussions focused on ICT and matters related to the TTCS mission.
- Hostility: Unprofessional, rude, or discourteous commentary regardless of the general subject
The TTCS Executive/Group Admins will step in and take action (including muting or removing members) if we observe:
- Arguments or sequences of messages that make the group to become a hostile environment.
- Any behavior counter to the TTCS objectives.
- Legitimate complaints raised by other members.
If you find any message in this chat objectionable or offensive, do not engage or argue in the group. Please screenshot the message and report it privately to a Group Admin or email us at info@ttcs.tt with your reasons.
