The Trinidad and Tobago Computer Society (TTCS) is an accredited ICANN At-Large Structure (ALS) and a founding member of the Latin American and Regional At-Large Organisation (LACRALO), comprised of 42 At-Large Structures in 16 out of 33 countries in the Latin American and Caribbean Region. At-Large is the name for the community of individual Internet users who participate in the policy development work of ICANN.
The vice-chair of TTCS, Dev Anand Teelucksingh is currently serving on the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC). The ALAC is responsible for considering and providing advice on ICANN’s activities as they relate to the interests of individual Internet users (the “At-Large” community).

Microsoft has announced that its TechNet Subscriptions service which debuted in 1998 will be retired and would discontinue sales on August 31, 2013. For an annual fee, subscribers to TechNet Subscriptions could download and install Microsoft’s latest software offerings ostensibly for evaluation use.

You can use your web browser to read detailed information about each program in this compilation : what the program does, its key features, useful related websites, view a screenshot, find links to the program’s website and to download/install the program from the TTCS OSSWIN DVD. The web-based interface allows you to quickly browse the variety of software organised into various categories.

The Trinidad and Tobago Computer Society (TTCS) has posted its draft comments on the draft policy for (and proposed amendments to) the Telecommunications Act, using the comment submission form posted on TATT’s website:
“This is a look at 3 billion tweets – every geotagged tweet since September 2011, mapped, showing facets of Twitter’s ecosystem and userbase in incredible new detail, revealing demographic, cultural, and social patterns down to city level detail, across the entire world.”
